February Faves…and the day I met Will Sheehey

Hello friends!

Did February fly by or what!?

I know it is the shortest month of the year…but man…it went by fast!!

Let’s recap this super short month now 🙂

February Faves

Ok…so I have to admit I didn’t really do a whole lot this month because of this…

Feb Faves

Snow, snow…and you guessed it…more snow.

Thank goodness it’s March {even though we did get 4 inches of new snow yesterday}, and spring is on it’s way. 18 days and counting!

We celebrated my dad’s 60th birthday this month…

And this is the only good picture I got.

Oh well…Happy 60th, Dad! You definitely do not look like you are 60.

I went to a ton of bridal shows with my sissy.

No complaints from me though…bridal shows = fun and free cake!

I got to meet this little doll…

Feb Faves

She is my friend Melissa’s new-born daughter. She is the cutest and sweetest little thing…and I must say she really seemed to enjoy being apart of girl talk.

And remember how I mentioned Will Sheehey {one of my fave IU basketball players ever} started playing for our local basketball team last month?!?

Well…I met him.

{If you remember I almost met him back in July…more about that here}.

Feb Faves

I remember saying hi…then the rest of what happened is sort of a blur.

See what I mean…don’t I look a little flustered {and extremely excited} below!?

Feb Faves

Who can blame me though. Not only is Will kinda cute, he was also super nice…from what I remember that is.

Our local basketball team actually hosted an IU night which gave us the opportunity to meet Will and another IU super-star, Christian Watford.

In case you don’t know who Christian Watford is let me tell you {he’s kinda a big deal}…

Watford's Shot

He scored the game-winning-buzzer-beater shot against Kentucky back in 2011 which led to this…

Hoosier Hysteria at it’s finest 🙂

Meeting both of them was priceless! And I’m so glad it happened when it did because Will decided he wasn’t getting enough playing time and left our local team at the end of this month. I was not a happy camper when I heard the news, but I can’t blame him. He will be missed!
