Tips for getting the most out of a Bridal Show

 have to admit…one thing that excites me most about helping my sissy plan her upcoming wedding is attending bridal shows. She’s all about numbers and budgets…and I’m all like “when do we get to look at fancy decorations and sample some cake!?”

So when we attend bridal shows we get the best of both worlds…lots of numbers and lots of samples of cake 🙂

But bridal shows are really the perfect place to gather tons of resourceful information…that is if you do it correctly. Being the veteran bridal show attendees that we are quickly becoming I thought I’d share a few tips we have learned thus far.

A Spring Trend

Hello!

I don’t know about you, but I am over winter.

O.V.E.R. I.T.

Don’t get me wrong I love the snow and change of the seasons…but eventually it comes to a point when one is sick of wearing the same sweaters and boots day-after-day. And I for one reached this point about 2 weeks ago.

Let’s start to focus on spring now, shall we!?

One spring trend I’m currently obsessing over is the slip-on sneaker, so what better time to start talking about this trend then now {even if it feels like -20 below zero here in Indiana today…brrr}!

There are so many fun things that go into the beginning stages of planning a wedding. You decide on a date, start thinking about the venue, determine your wedding party…and then come up with cute little gifts to ask each one of your besties to stand up with you on your big day as bridesmaids!

This past month I helped my sister, Kelli come up with creative {and inexpensive} gifts to ask each one of her friends to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, and today I thought I’d share this fun project with you.

Hello!

Are you ready for Valentine’s Day tomorrow? Luckily, if you are a last minute shopper the stores are still stocked full of all things pink, red and pretty much anything Valentine’s Day related.

And if you happen to need a cute gift box to store all of your goodies in you are also in luck! I helped my sister, Kelli make the cutest bridesmaids gift boxes to ask the girls to be in her wedding…and they just happened to be heart-shaped…perfect for bridesmaids and also perfect for your Valentine.
