How-to Hang Ribbon on a Christmas Tree

Good Morning!

Have you started decorating for Christmas yet?

As you may already know {based on my Christmas mantel} I have!

One of the first things I remember struggling with when it comes to decorating for Christmas is hanging ribbon on a tree.

How the heck is one supposed to hang ribbon on a Christmas tree anyways!?

Well…there are about 539 ways you can hang it.

So today I thought I’d share a little tutorial on how I hang my ribbon…for those of you struggling and wondering about this like I used to.

Decorating Your Mantel with Garland

Hello!

There is something about Christmas decorations that make me really happy.

Like really…really happy :)

And one of my favorite decorated spots in the Purple Palace during Christmas is our garland hanging on the fireplace mantel.

Decorating a mantel for Christmas can be somewhat of a tricky thing.

You see it took us 3 Christmases to finally get the garland on the mantel right.

So today I’d like to share the steps we take to make sure the garland on the mantel looks perfect…or at least perfect to us.

Fall Home Tour Blog Hop

Happy Friday!

Have you started you started decorating for Christmas yet?

I’d be lying if I said I haven’t.

And here’s why I decorate early:

1.) The sooner it goes up the longer I get to enjoy it…and once Christmas is over I’m ready for it to come down.

2. It lets me fully enjoy the holiday season…because I don’t have to stress about when I’ll get my decorating done.

3. In case I need to buy anything new the selection isn’t completely picked over.

4. And I just LOVE my Christmas décor so much!

So…hate me if you must because I am one of “those people” that puts my stuff up early :)

But before we switch into Christmas mode around here I thought we could revisit my Fall Home Tour…as well as a few other blogger’s in today’s…
