What I’m Thankful For This Year

Thanksgiving Tablescape | theblueeyeddove.com

Happy Thanksgiving! With the hustle and the bustle of the season well underway today I wanted to take a moment to share a list of the things I’m thankful for. It’s so easy to focus on the things we don’t have in our lives, and really overlook all of the good that surrounds us. And there are so many good things if you really stop to think about it!

What I am thankful for {in no particular order}:

  1. My health
  2. My home. I’m thankful to live in a place that I love so much.
  3. Chai Tea
  4. My career. I’m thankful I have a career that challenges me, and pushes me outside of my comfort zone.
  5. My Sister. She is one of the coolest people I know, and I’m so thankful we are close and get to spend so much time together. I’m also thankful for her husband – the brother I never I had, who picks on me and all!
  6. Bravo TV and the Hallmark Channel – both networks just make me happy!
  7. Friends that feel more like family.
  8. My hair extensions. I’m really thankful for these – life changing! 🙂
  9. Strangers that smile back when I smile at them.
  10. My Jeep – I love that thing!
  11. My faith. I may not have all of the answers, but I have faith that things will always work out.
  12. My Parents. I appreciate them more and more the older I get. They are two of the best people I know. I’m so thankful I get to be their daughter.
  13. My baby nephew. I’m thankful he seems to like me so far. His smiles and laugh truly melt my heart!
  14. My relationships. I’m so blessed to have developed such strong relationships with so many wonderful people.
  15. My blog. I love being able to share things through this creative outlet of mine. I’m also thankful for you – the readers!
  16. Target
  17. My blogging bestie, Kaylee
  18. Romeo Langford, and this year’s IU Basketball team.
  19. Directing a pageant I love and watching young women develop a sense of confidence in themselves.
  20. Being content. My life is far from perfect, but at the end of the day I am truly happy and feel blessed.

I hope my short list inspires you take a moment today {or sometime this holiday season} to reflect on everything you are thankful for too!
