I can’t believe July is almost over! I know I say this every month, but seriously….where has July gone!?
To be honest I’m glad it’s over with.
It was a crazy busy month! From vacation, to having something planned EVERY single weekend. I’m glad my calendar in August is clear 🙂
Before we say goodbye to this month here are some of my July favorites!

If you are anything like me you might have thrown your typical daily “routine” out the window this month.
Doesn’t everyone’s routine slip a little in the Summer?
Since I went on vacation earlier this month, I some how tricked myself into thinking this vaca was extended. All. Month. Long.
It’s time to refocus.
With that in mind the first thing I’m going to focus on is my diet.

Christmas in July that is.
I know you are probably thinking I’m crazy for celebrating Christmas in July…I really don’t, but I still get super excited thinking about Christmas…who doesn’t!?
I could show you pictures of our 4 (yes 4) Christmas trees, how we make the best Christmas cookies EVER or how I wrap presents….but I have to save something for December!
Instead I’d like to tell you a little bit more about a Christmas tradition we started a few years ago.

Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you really need a particular item, but you don’t want to fork over the money to buy it?
Happens to me all the time…like the broken headlight that I have been driving around with all Summer long…
…yes Dad, I know I need to get it fixed…but I also have my priorities 🙂
Lately, I have been ALL about s’mores.
S’more blizzards from DQ, s’more candles, s’more lip gloss…coming from someone that has never been much of a s’mores fan.
I don’t get it, but I’m also really enjoying it!
I decided it was time that I have a s’mores party…but I don’t have a fire pit.
And I’m certainly not going to spend my money on one…after all I need to fix my broken headlight, remember!?
While browsing Pinterest one evening I saw that people make their own fire pits…how smart are they!?
I knew it was time to jump on this bandwagon.

The last thing you want to wear on those kinda days is a piece of clothing that will stick to you.

My weekend consisted of watching the RHONJ marathon (and of course the season 6 premiere…yay!), riding in a parade, going to a 90’s throw back summer concert and riding on a group bicycle-trolley looking thingy.
