Everyone loves a good home tour. Blame it on HGTV, or perhaps the fact that most of us enjoy taking a step into someone else’s world to see what their living space looks like. Home tours are fun. I’ve been living in my new apartment since Halloween, and finally feel that it is completely settled and decorated. These things take time, and when you are a perfectionist {like I tend to be at times} you can’t make a reveal like this until you fuss just enough. The fussing and primping is finally over {for now anyways!}, and I’d like to officially welcome you in for my home tour!
See more of my dining area/breakfast nook here.
If you read this post you already know this move was probably the easiest one I will ever make, because it was right across the hall and only took two hours! I didn’t have to move, and of course questioned if I was making the right decision. I loved my old place, all of it’s character and wasn’t sure at first if I’d feel as “at home” in the new apartment. Change is scary {why fix something that isn’t broken?}, but I’ve found the things that scare me the most are usually the best things for me.
That couldn’t be more true about my new home! It’s different, has it’s own character and is so much better for me. It’s also much bigger, which is a great thing. This is corny to say, but I feel like the best version of myself living here.
{Side note: There is a kitchen and bathroom! I will eventually get around to sharing a few pictures of those spaces too.}
In case you are wondering this apartment will also host several parties, see a lot of Bravo TV shows, serve as a lookout tower {I have a fantastic view of the city!}, be subject to many spontaneous Pandora concerts and also serve as a daily reminder of how happy and grateful I am to live in a place I love so much!
Thank you for stopping by my home tour! I hope you enjoyed this new space as much as I have the past six months.
If you want to see more home tours be sure to checkout my last place here, and the one before that here. And if you like Christmas Tours {because who doesn’t!?} you can see this place all decked out here.
