Apartment Decor Update

I learn so much watching Bravo TV. If you have been following this blog for any amount of time you know I’m a huge fan of pretty much anything on this tv station. The shows that inspire me the most are the Real Housewives franchises {although Sell it Like Serhant had a pretty big impact on me this year too since I work in sales}. My latest inspiration example? Palm leaf wallpaper. A must have for an apartment decor update if you ask me! This exact wallpaper was featured on a recent episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC).

There wasn’t necessarily anything wrong with this old wall, but it just felt like something was missing. A wall that houses a bar cart should be fun, like a party! When the other housewives started talking about how they wanted a palm leaf wallpaper wall in their house I suddenly felt the same way. Next thing you know I ordering it online, and it was hanging on my wall a week later.

This bold wallpaper could not have been more perfect to serve as a statement piece in my apartment. I put it on a small wall too, so it’s not very overwhelming. And it’s removable. Not that I plan on taking it down anytime soon, but when you rent you can’t exactly hang wallpaper.
