Sadly, as they say all good things must come to an end, and this includes summertime. Instead of looking at this as a bad thing, think of it as another reason to throw a really fun end of the summer party at the lake. Gather some friends and get ready for the ultimate nautical-themed bash!

Start this fun theme by decorating your dinner table with a navy and white striped table cover. Then top the table cover with a fish net, some nautical candle holders, a sail boat centerpiece and some fresh flowers.

Plastic life preservers and anchors also add a fun touch to your party backdrop.

Place a large navy napkin underneath each place setting and top with a plastic white charger, plastic red plate, yellow luncheon napkin and navy-stamped wooden cutlery tied together with a piece of twine.

Mason jars are perfect to serve beverages for any occasion! Add some twine around the top rim to tie in the nautical theme. Don’t forget the red and white striped straws! Make sure to add some personalization to your party with nautical-themed drink labels.

 

Provide guests with their own captain or gob hat to increase the nautical-themed party fun.
