Temperatures are finally starting to warm up {yay!}, so that means it’s time to ditch the jean jackets and light-weight sweaters and break out the kimonos!! I love wearing kimonos in the summer time. I tend to always be freezing, and a kimono is the perfect addition to my wardrobe that provides an extra layer, but isn’t too heavy. And they look cute with everything…jeans, shorts a fitted dress – you seriously cannot go wrong! When I saw this kimono from Forever 21 I knew it was a must-have purchase for my summer wardrobe.

During the summer I am definitely a minimalist when it comes to accessorizing. Nothing is worse than feeling sticky under your jewelry! Tassel earrings are a fun way to add a pop of color for an easy statement piece. I’m also a huge fan of delicate necklaces {like this engraved gold bar}. Cute and light!
