Today is the day I have patiently been waiting to share with you for about the last two months {well actually since August when I knew where I’d be spending the next year of my life}…my home tour!! But when you move into a new place in October there is still lots of work to be done. Even though I’m very close to feeling completely settled I couldn’t let the holidays pass by without giving you a little glimpse into this new place of mine.
{Normal home tour to come in 2016…stay tuned!}
Without further ado I’d like to welcome you to my new home for my Christmas Home tour…
This year I’ve decided to deck my halls with white fur and metallics, so naturally it only made sense to make a white fur wreath for my front door. Today I’m sharing this easy tutorial over at My Crafty Spot.
If I could wrap myself up in a blanket and go out in public I probably would. Mainly because I’m usually freezing at some point of the day, and it’s also turned into sort of a comfort thing. So this season I am really digging the idea of wearing a poncho. To me they are the fashionably acceptable way to walk around in a blanket all day…oh and they are really cute too 🙂
One of my favorite times of the year to host a party is during the fall. I love that you can decorate with festive colors, incorporate anything pumpkin related in, and most importantly that you get a chance to feast on a lot of comfort food!
Recently I partnered with Shindigz {a super cool party supplies company} and helped host a festive fall party featuring some of their seasonal products.
When it comes to planning a party most of my mine are centred around one thing…sugar. Every party should feature a little something sweet, right!?
Today I’m participating in Wayfair’s Let’s Get #SugarCharged campaign and sharing how I’d incorporate a cotton candy machine {the ultimate sweet treat} into a fun party theme!
October is the month I look forward to every single year. One – it’s Fall my favorite season; two – it’s my birthday month {who doesn’t love their birthday month!?}; and three – we have a day dedicated to dressing up in costumes and eating candy {no further explanation needed here}.
This October certainly didn’t disappoint, and was probably one of my most exciting months of the whole year. With that segue here is my monthly recap…
