It’s Friday…woohoo!!!
Lately I have been wanting to do something with candlesticks…like a lot of different candle sticks.
I wasn’t exactly sure what I would do, but didn’t hesitate to stock up on candle sticks when Goodwill had their monthly 50% off everything sale.
In case you haven’t noticed Goodwill usually has about 25,568 candle sticks at any given time…so I was able to find a variety of candle sticks at super cheap prices!
My next step was to figure out what to do with these things…
My patio furniture has seen better days, and was really starting to look weathered after last summer. This spring I knew it was time for an update, so you know what that means…make-over! I love a good make-over, especially a good DIY furniture make-over!
Since it is finally starting to warm-up in Indiana I decided it was time to update my patio furniture, so this past weekend I spent half of my Saturday afternoon spray painting it. My index finger is still a little numb from spraying the paint, but you gotta do what you gotta do! And the furniture turned out great, so the pain is well worth it! My outdoor living space is almost complete, and I’ll be featuring it in an upcoming post.
In the meantime, while I was going spray paint crazy, I decided I might as well spray paint a few of my clay flower pots…because once you get started you tend to notice other things that would look great with a fresh coat of spray paint! I also purchased some floral fabric to add to the flower pots. My one big project turned into two, but that seems to happen when I get on a roll
