It’s the first day of December…can you believe it!? I’m not quite sure where 2016 has gone, but I’m perfectly ok with it coming to an end soon and starting a fresh new year. Before we do that though we get to enjoy one of my favorite fashion seasons of the year…the holiday season!! (more…)
Just when we thought it was never going to feel like late fall here in Indiana November finally showed it’s true colors and…it’s cold! Staying {and dressing} warm is an essential now, and one of the best ways to keep warm in my opinion is by wearing a buffalo plaid scarf. There’s something about the red and black colors that scream late fall warmth to me 😉
Today is one of my favorite post days of the year…my Christmas Home Tour!!! It’s no secret that if I could keep my Christmas decorations up for at least half the year I would do it in a heartbeat, but that seems to be frowned upon by most people {especially when they think you are crazy for decorating within the first week of November!}. The month of November allows us to spend some extra time sharing our appreciation and gratitude for all of the wonderful people and things we have in our lives…like our friends! Truth be told I’m a little bit of a procrastinator. But instead of viewing this as a negative trait, I prefer to think of it in a positive way meaning I work really, really well under pressure or when I have a deadline to meet. So if you’re anything like me and make your Halloween costume the week {or night} before this easy Snow Woman costume might be right up your alley!
I don’t know about you…but I’m a watch girl. The bigger {and the more unique} the better. Throw in a little pop of color and I’m a happy camper. When Jord Wood Watches asked me to partner with them to promote some of their styles for fall my answer was an obvious yes!
