October is the month I look forward to every single year. One – it’s Fall my favorite season; two – it’s my birthday month {who doesn’t love their birthday month!?}; and three – we have a day dedicated to dressing up in costumes and eating candy {no further explanation needed here}.
This October certainly didn’t disappoint, and was probably one of my most exciting months of the whole year. With that segue here is my monthly recap…
This year my birthday was extra special because I moved into my new home! Eventually I will get to this new home tour, but for now here’s a little sneak peak.
I spent the rest of my birthday celebrating with some of my favorite people!
Then I headed to Texas to visit my best friend, her husband and meet their precious baby girl!
I love everything about this little baby! She makes the cutest noises and has the sweetest expressions.
I can’t get enough of her! Oh, and I can’t forget to mention their first baby, Theo! He’s a cutie too 😉
When I made it back home again to Indiana I experienced a fall first…

Definitely something that should be on everyone’s fall bucket list!
And speaking of fall this is my absolute favorite fall view!
We also celebrated my mom’s birthday this month.
October birthdays are the best.
And last but certainly not least, we celebrated Halloween!
Why wear just one Halloween costume when you can wear two?!
This year I was Chris Harrison from The Bachelor for a work skit {let’s face it I’d never voluntarily dress up as a man unless it included some sort of skit from The Bachelor}, and a Snow Woman {aka not Olaf from Frozen} 🙂
