Good Morning!
I’m not what you would call a “griller”.
My grill is more of a patio decoration than cooking device.
I LOVE grilled food, but to take the grill cover off, turn it on and make something for myself is a lot of work.
Especially considering my oven can get the job done simply by opening it up 🙂
But…it’s Summer and you’re supposed to use your grill.
And it’s on my Summer to-do list…so Danielle (another non-griller) and I decided to give this grilling thing a whirl for today’s recipe segment.
First things first, you have to turn your grill on…and if you can figure out how to do this right away you’ll be one step ahead of us 🙂
Because you can’t just flip the on switch, you also have to open the propane tank…who knew!?
Thank goodness we finally figured it out, and didn’t have to call her hubby for assistance!
While our healthy dinner grilled we drank sangrias (recipe to come!), laughed and got caught up on each others lives.
And some how managed not to forget about the food we were grilling!
The grilled bbq shrimp skewers turned out SO good!
I might just have to put in the extra effort to make these on the grill again!
After all…I do know how to turn the grill on now 🙂
What do you like to grill in the Summer?
Have a nice weekend!
