My sister and I did something super fun this weekend…we switched our Fall/Winter closet over to Spring/Summer! Now, I know this probably doesn’t sound fun at all, but we actually enjoy it.

If you haven’t figured it out by now I like color. Bold, pastel, patterns…the more color the better! As much as I love my dark winter clothing and sweaters I’m sooo over wearing them! I need some more color in my life pronto…enter Spring/Summer clothes!

One of the reasons I enjoy switching our clothes over is because I sort of forget what we have from season to season. It’s almost like shopping for these things all over again! We gush over some of these great pieces that we haven’t seen for the last 6 months. We also try and get rid of the ones that we have held onto for one more season, because we swear we will wear them again. You know as well as I do that that NEVER happens. We help remind each other it’s time to put those rejects in the garage sale pile.  We have this process down to a science, as my sister says 🙂

While shopping switching the clothes over I found some “new” pieces that I am so excited to wear again. Without further ado here they are:

I think these shirts describe my love of bold, pastel and pattern pieces very well! We have a little bit of it all covered with just these shirts.

I really, really like colored pants. White, mint, pink…definitely a Spring staple in my wardrobe!

Just because the season switches over to Spring in Indiana doesn’t mean you can get rid of your warmer clothes just yet. Luckily, we have some light-weight sweaters like these, to help make the transition a little easier.

Lastly, it’s also a little too early for me to break out my wedge sandals and flats. I don’t do cold feet, plus I could use a fun Spring pedicure 🙂 Anyways, I found these cute boots at Target in February. I get compliments on them ALL the time. I love the light “springy” color. I have been wearing these boots almost everyday. You can find them here, and they are only $34.99. A great Spring buy in my book!

And there you have it. Wasn’t my Spring “shopping” fun!? Our closet looks so bright, cheery and inviting! I should have much more fun picking out outfits this week, despite the weather still feeling like Winter. Oh well…I guess you can’t have it all 🙂
