My Winter Favorites

I know everyone is sick of winter, but I can’t lie…I like winter! There I said it, hate me if you must, but it’s the truth. When you live in Indiana you never know what the weather will be like week to week, or even day to day. The past few years we have had somewhat of a mild winter. This year it has been all about the cold and snow…and I’m really loving it! Don’t get me wrong, if it’s still cold and snowy come mid-March I’ll be sick of it like everyone else. But, for now I’m going to enjoy it…what other choice do we really have anyways?

Here are some of the things that help make winter that much better for me 🙂

Snow Boots Final 1

It’s always a great winter day in my book when I get to wear these babies! I love a good pair of snow boots!

Chili Final

I LOVE soup! I could eat it all day, everyday. Nothing tastes better on a chilly day than a bowl of soup.

Skiing Final

Downhill skiing is the perfect winter activity! When else can you wear cute snow gear and speed downhill with the wind and snow blowing through your hair!?

Thermals Final

If you have never worn the Victoria Secret Thermal Pajamas you are missing out. These pajamas are amazing! At first I thought they would be too hot, but they really aren’t. They are perfect to lounge around in. Next winter make these a must have! You can thank me later.

Fur Scarf Final

What says “hello winter” better than a nice fur scarf!? I found this great one at American Eagle. I know this is something I will get a lot of use out of for many winters to come. And it reverses to a white fur scarf…bonus!!

Throw 2 Final

Lastly, you need a nice warm throw blanket to snuggle up in. This is the warmest and softest blanket I have EVER had. It is from Vera Bradley, and luckily they make it in a wide range of colors for any season! Put on your thermal pajamas, grab your favorite Real Housewives book, get yourself a cup of hot chocolate and snuggle up by the fire and enjoy a peaceful afternoon indoors.

I’m sure the end is in sight for this cold, snowy weather. Until then why not look around and embrace the season. What are you enjoying most about winter this year?

Monday I will share an easy craft with you that will be a hit at some of your upcoming parties! Until then, have a great weekend!
