According to the fabulous Lisa Vanderpump (for those of you unfamiliar, she is one of the stars of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) it is a British tradition to name your house. It adds personality, and let’s just be honest…it’s chic and fun! Our house (condo) had already taken on the name of the “Purple Palace” before I had even heard of this tradition. As you can guess I was thrilled to learn that Lisa Vanderpump and I have something in common!
My sister and I live together. We get along great, and it makes perfect sense for us because we share A LOT of stuff. I’m not looking forward to the day when we have to live separately, and my wardrobe will drastically be cut in half! Here’s hoping we will always live close enough to borrow each others clothes 🙂
Ok, back to the home tour!
Since we are two girly girls we wanted our place to be just that…pretty girly. How many times in your life will you be able to have a bright purple kitchen?! I think it’s safe to say we accomplished our mission. I’ll let you be the judge of that though. Without further ado I’d like to welcome you to the Purple Palace!!!
Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have of sister’s room because she is in the process of redecorating it. I will post some better pictures once it has been completed. Stay tuned for her new look! (Also note, that night stand to the right, against the wall doesn’t really go there.)
